| Another of the vast number of small non-standard diesel-mechanical small shunters were these two Ruston & Hornsby 165hp units based on the builders private industrial design, which was first built in 1946 for trial purposes. The two machines delivered to Stratford in 1956 as Nos. 11507-08 were later renumbered D2957-58 and worked mainly in the Stratford area. Painted in black livery with lion on wheel logo No. D2957 is illustrated at Stratford. A Gardner. |
